brings a blend of knowledge and skills to the company from his 31 years of experience as an Operating Engineer in commercial high-rise properties and from prior work in commercial construction and audio-video production. He was previously employed with ABM Facility Services for 28 years in the downtown Los Angeles and Century City markets. Twenty-four years were served as Chief Engineer. William’s varied background has provided him with an excellent understanding of the complexities of the modern high-rise and greatly influenced his approach to building operation and maintenance. He explains that his approach as simply (1) Identify, restore and maintain the original engineering designs of a property and (2) continually look for opportunities for improvement. While this focus may seem obvious to most, the former continues to be the greatest drawback to efficient facility operations. William has enjoyed success with this focus and excelled, most notably, in the restoration and upgrade of underperforming properties. In addition one of his most memorable accomplishments was the 2008 BOMA Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award for 1901 Ave of the Stars.
