Kate Holly

LEED GA, Fitwel Ambassador, GGEP I Sustainability Coordinator

Kate is one of the latest additions to Leading Edge where she consults on sustainability programs, including LEED, Fitwel, and Energy Star, and assists with ongoing maintenance for LEED certified projects. At a larger scale, Kate is passionate about sustainable urban development, and she is interested in the role the built environment plays in creating communities that incorporate regenerative design principles while also fostering social-environmental justice. She aspires to help expand Leading Edge’s education efforts, increasing the accessibility of green building concepts and the science behind climate change.

Kate has a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies and Religion from Middlebury College where she developed sustainability standards to align with the College’s commitment to 100% renewable energy, advanced the Farm Labor Housing Initiative and brought Zero Energy Modular homes to migrant farmworkers on Vermont farms.

Based in Chicago, she enjoys spending time with her Retriever Bode and out kayaking on the Great Lakes.
