Kate Holly

LEED GA, EcoDistricts AP, Fitwel Ambassador, GGEP I Sustainability Manager

Kate consults on various sustainability programs including LEED, Fitwel, WELL H+S, GRESB, PRI, ILFI’s JUST Label, DEI initiatives and ENERGY STAR. Kate is strong with research, analysis, organization and technical support. She is passionate the role the built environment plays in creating communities that incorporate regenerative design principles while also fostering social environmental justice.

She aspires to help expand Leading Edge’s education efforts, increasing the accessibility of green building concepts and the science behind climate change.

Kate has a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies and Religion from Middlebury College where she developed sustainability standards to align with the College’s commitment to 100% renewable energy, advanced the Farm Labor Housing Initiative and brought Zero Energy Modular homes to migrant farmworkers on Vermont farms.

Based in Chicago, she enjoys spending time with her Retriever Bode and out kayaking on the Great Lakes.
